NIE Coordinator

Floresville High School Theatre had a very successful production of “Farm Girl” by Carol A. Grund and “The Villain and the Toy Shop” by Barbara Winther on Sept. 29.

Success continued when FHS Theatre earned a trophy for the troupe’s 1920s advertisement for “Solve a Roaring 20s Mystery” at the Floresville Peanut Festival. Wilson, the Wilson County News’ NIE mascot, joined the group to help promote reading.

Everyone is invited to join FHS Theatre and the Wilson County Public Library for an interactive clue mystery show on Saturday, Oct. 29, at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tickets are $4 presale or $6 at the Wilson County Public Library doors on the day of the show. Each show has a different mystery to solve!

Tiffany Polasek is the theater arts teacher at Floresville High School and the Newspapers In Education coordinator with the Wilson County News.
