The Wilson County News has obtained confirmation from the County Tax Assessor-Collector’s office that the deadline to pay Wilson County taxes in order to receive the October early-payment discount has been moved to Tuesday, Nov. 15.

multiply $10 to $50 minimum by the number of taxable property's and you see why they mail out the notices late in the month, been going on for years, someone probably called them on it.. not everyone pays early of course , but ... More ›

I am so glad that the recent raise for county workers is producing an increase in efficiency. Now we know why it was a COLA raise and not based on merit.
