Social services experience required.  Responsible for assisting with recruiting and initial training of advocates, and coordinating cases in Wilson County and Karnes County with Atascosa County (home office). Charles Sanford Chesterman passed away on Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, in Floresville, Texas, at the age of 88 years and 11 months. He was born on Nov. 7, 1922, in Minneapolis, Minn., the son of Charles E. and Mary M. Chesterman.

He was a resident of Floresville for two years and was a former resident of San Antonio. Charles served in the U.S. Air Force in World War II as a lieutenant colonel.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Eula Chesterman of San Antonio; and his children, Mary, Judy, and David.

The family met privately on Friday, Oct. 7, in the Franklin Funeral Home in Floresville.

Inurnment was held Monday, Oct. 24, at 10 a.m. in the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
