Responsibilities of the position include felony intake, preparation of cases for grand jury, negotiating pleas and assisting law enforcement, assisting with Border Prosecution Cases and representation of the State of Texas in pretrial proceedings, as well as in criminal bench trials and jury trials in District Court. All applicants must be a graduate of an accredited law school and licensed to practice law by the State of Texas and have a minimum of five (5) years prosecutorial experience. Ralph and Bonnie Lerma of Stockdale, Texas, are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amy Leann, to Tanner Lee Voelkel, the son of Pete and Kathy Voelkel of Stockdale. Tanner is also the son of the late Denise Voelkel, formerly of Stockdale.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late John and Esperanza “Patti” Lerma, formerly of Stockdale, and Geneva Soto of Stockdale and the late Johnny Soto.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Hubert and Alice Voelkel, formerly of Nordheim, and John and Shirley Dudley of Stockdale.

The couple will wed Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, in St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Kosciusko, with Father Dennis Jarzombek officiating.

Peter Kane and Liz Urbanczyk will provide the nuptial music.

Robin Polasek will serve as Amy’s maid of honor. Serving as bridesmaids are Patti Lerma, Tara Voelkel, Rhea Rutland, Dusty Wehmeyer, and Mckenzie Voelkel. Brenna Baggs will be the junior bridesmaid.

C.T. Kilgore will serve as Tanner’s best man. Serving as groomsmen are B.J. Voelkel, Colby Baggs, Jason Pawelek, Scott Pruski, and Zach Thompson; and Trentyn Voelkel will be the junior groomsman.

Sydney Drzymala and Exavior Soto will serve as flower girl and ring bearer, respectively.

A reception will be held in the Kosciusko Hall in Kosciusko.

After a honeymoon in downtown San Antonio, the couple will reside in Stockdale.
