The 81st Judicial District Attorney’s office is seeking candidates for the position of an Administrative Assistant. Duties will include but not limited to: answering incoming calls and greeting visitors, prepare discovery for defense bar as required, providing administrative and clerical support to the ADAs and District Attorney, assist in general office work and perform related duties as follows: Operate a multi-line telephone switchboard, proficient use of software applications and computer equipment, scanning and compiling files for eDiscovery, filing and creating court files, generating reports as required. Applicants must have at least five (5) years of administrative assistant experience, strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) ability to multi-task, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Esther (Albrecht-Morales) and Joseph Adam Liedecke Sr. will celebrate their 61st wedding anniversary on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011. Their families were lifelong friends and neighbors. They grew up together in Elmendorf, Texas, and became teenage sweethearts. They have been life-long companions.

Esther and Joseph were married in the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Elmendorf on Nov. 19, 1950. They spent most of their lives in the immediate area, where they brought up their family.

The couple have five children, Dr. Patsy Ann Liedecke, JoAnn Brown, Mary Lou Ramos, Joseph A. Liedecke Jr., and Roxanne Rodriguez. They are blessed with six grandchildren, Regina, Edee, Chrystie, Erika, Adam, and Isabella. They enjoy the love of their lives -- their seven great-grandchildren, Joseph, Noah, Tager, Elka, Pax, Brooke, and Olivia.

They thank God for allowing them to enjoy a happy life together, and look forward to many more years ahead.

Esther and Joseph will receive an anniversary blessing at Mass celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel at San Antonio College on Friday, Nov. 18, and Saturday, Nov. 19, in the Holy Name Catholic Church in San Antonio.

They requested a special blessing for all of their children and family members, especially for their great-grandson, Noah, who shares his birthday on their wedding anniversary.

The couple will enjoy a special luncheon with family to celebrate their joyous occasion.
