James Edward Coyle Jr., 53, of La Vernia, Texas, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011. He was born Oct. 23, 1958.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Coyle, M.D.

James is survived by his wife, Jeanette (Lassere) Coyle; his children, James Edward Coyle III, Kristi Coyle, and Kayla Coyle; his mother, Helen Skeldon; his sister, Delana Coyle; his brothers, Richard Coyle and John Coyle; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation was held Monday, Nov. 14, from 6-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Department of Trauma Surgery, c/o Ronald M. Stewart, MD, University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, 7703 Floyd Curl Drive, San Antonio, TX 78229.
