Beatrice Vasquez, 59, of Nixon, Texas, died Friday, Nov. 11, 2011. She was born May 16, 1952, in Nixon to Ramon and Ramona Riojas Gonzales.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Raymond Gonzales Jr.

Beatrice is survived by her husband, Fortino Vasquez of Nixon; her daughters, Guadalupe Garcia and husband Salvador, Clara Moreno and husband Michael, and Rabecca Mejia and husband Fernando; her sons, Racel Vasquez and wife Vicki, Steven Vasquez and wife Larasha, and Gabriel Vasquez; three brothers; three sisters; and many grandchildren.

Visitation was held Monday, Nov. 14, at 5 p.m. with a rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Nixon.

Interment followed in the Wrightsboro Cemetery in Wrightsboro.
