1936-2011

Mary Kathryn Campbell formerly of China Grove, Texas, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011. She was born July 11, 1936.

The following pre-written obituary by the deceased was submitted by the family for publication, per Mary’s request.

“My life was absolutely wonderful. Thanks to my mother, father, brother, and my eight beautiful children, Thomas, George, Sharon, Marion, Ricky, David, Douglas, and Roy, for giving me 15 gorgeous grandchildren, and who also gave me 15 great-grandchildren.

“In addition to my family, I want to thank all the people who were able to touch and hug my life in so many ways, it was a blast. And to all of you, remember ‘when everything else fails I will always love you.’ Thank you for letting me be part of your lives. Love you and God bless all of you.

Grandma.”

A memorial service was held Saturday, Nov. 19, at 4 p.m. in the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in San Antonio.
