Willie E. Barnett, 69, passed away Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011. He was born Sept. 1, 1942, in Austin, Texas, the son of Bill Barnett and Rowena (Sparks) Spangenberg.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Willie is survived by his wife, Edith Barnett of Floresville; his daughter, Brandy Barnett and Bobby Krenek of Wallis; his son, Brett Barnett and wife Dawn of Floresville; grandchildren Makenzie Laine Barnett and Mallorie Raine Barnett; brother Butch Hagelgans and wife Judy; sisters Edith Stuart and husband James and Patricia Pearson and husband Harold; sisters-in-law Sylvia Perez and husband Sam and Areli Travieso and husband Henry; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Nov. 23, from 9-10 a.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Father Stan Fiuk officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
