Rodney Voigt Rosin, 77, of La Vernia, Texas, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, Nov. 25, 2011. He was born Nov. 5, 1934, in San Antonio.

Rodney graduated from Milby High School in Houston, and attended Wharton County Junior College and the University of Houston. He went on to work for General Motors Parts Division, where he later retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Sally (Voigt) Rosin.

Rodney is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann (Buchanan) Rosin of La Vernia; his son, Charles Rosin of La Vernia; his sister, Sally Crane and husband Tommy of Houston; nieces Lisa Crane of San Francisco, Calif., and Laura Crane of Houston; and great-niece Kirby Crane of Houston.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 2, from 9-10 a.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the Concrete Cemetery near La Vernia, with the Rev. David Lindow officiating.

Box 17736, San Antonio, TX 78217; The Institute of Rehabilitation and Resources (TIRR), which provides comprehensive medical rehabilitation for individuals who have experienced a traumatic brain injury.
