ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Rodney Voigt Rosin, 77, of La Vernia, Texas, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, Nov. 25, 2011. He was born Nov. 5, 1934, in San Antonio.

Rodney graduated from Milby High School in Houston, and attended Wharton County Junior College and the University of Houston. He went on to work for General Motors Parts Division, where he later retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Sally (Voigt) Rosin.

Rodney is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann (Buchanan) Rosin of La Vernia; his son, Charles Rosin of La Vernia; his sister, Sally Crane and husband Tommy of Houston; nieces Lisa Crane of San Francisco, Calif., and Laura Crane of Houston; and great-niece Kirby Crane of Houston.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 2, from 9-10 a.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the Concrete Cemetery near La Vernia, with the Rev. David Lindow officiating.
