Lady Brahma junior high teams split games

NIXON -- The Stockdale Junior High School seventh- and eighth-grade Lady Brahma basketball teams traveled to Nixon Nov. 21 to take on the Lady Mustangs.

The seventh-grade girls played hard, but came up short. Gabby Vidal led the Lady Brahmas with 5 points.

The eighth-grade Lady Brahmas looked good in their game, and edged out the Lady Mustangs by the score of 25-22. Vanessa had 12 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals during the game. Lauren scored 10 points, made 3 rebounds, came up with 5 steals, and had 1 block. Karah scored 2 points for Stockdale and had 5 rebounds. Kayla added 5 steals and 2 rebounds.

The Stockdale junior high teams were scheduled to face Poth Nov. 28.
