Kimberly Catherine Slover-Carver, 51, of New Braunfels, Texas, and formerly of La Vernia, passed away Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Gordon Slover, and her first husband, Ross Neighbors Scull.

Kimberly is survived by her husband, Robert Frank Carver; her son, John Ross Scull; her daughters, Leona Scull-Hons and Aresa Wileman-Johnson; her father, Sammy Floyd Slover; her brothers, Dean Slover, Jimmy Slover, Kelly Slover, and Sammy Slover; her sisters, Phyllis Mack and Shelie Deveney; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Sunday, Dec. 4, from 5-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.

A funeral service was held Monday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Henry Adams Jr. officiating.

Interment followed in the Concrete Cemetery, near La Vernia.
