Offer condolences


Barbara Carter Adamson, 79, of Adkins, Texas, passed away Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011. She was born May 24, 1932, in Shawnee, Okla.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard Claude Carter and Don Adamson; her son, Kenneth Dale Carter; her mother, Phronia Stratton; and her sister, Emily Fountain.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Claudia Wright and husband Lon of Bulverde; her grandchildren, Kevin Dale Wright and wife Sarah of Marion, Kristin Paige Zuniga and husband Zaxir of Cibolo, and Stephanie Denise MacDonald and husband Shane of Canyon Lake; her stepdaughters, Raelyn Adamson of Dallas, Theresa Adamson of Dallas, and Heather Regolato; great-grandchildren Ashlyn, Nolan, Ocean, Maxx, Brandon, and Caitlin; numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends; and faithful companion, her dog Baby.

Visitation will take place Wed. Dec. 7, from 6-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.

A funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the La Vernia United Methodist Church in La Vernia, with the Rev. Harry Kahl officiating.

Interment will follow in the Blackhill Cemetery in Lytle.

Memorial donations may be made to the La Vernia United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 155, La Vernia, TX 78121.
