If he must have a sport, how about hopscotch or marbles where he is in plain sight? It would be swell to wake up some morning with a normal American President in office. At this point, I don't even care if i agree with most of their policies...someone that I know is not going to sell America to foreign interest and spit on the Constitution. I am sick to death of Chicago-style politics...if you disagree with the Dems, you are a racist, unamerican, ignorant and not a part of the American mainstream and find some devious way to stuff it down voters throats anyway. I want someone in the White House that gets on TV and trashes Russia, China, and all the other countries that hate us and tells them to kiss our butt. I want someone in the WH that will not let this Green Thing go too far...only so far that it doesn't cripple our economy (i.e. Keystone Pipeline, etc). I want someone in the WH that honors the Constitution and what the founding fathers envisioned. I want someone in the WH that doesn't play golf. I want someone in the WH that will not call us arogant, lazy. In other words, I want a Real American hero that loves this country more than he loves the ideology of his Harvard professors.

Now wait. I thought Obama facies himself to be another Lincoln, freeing the slaves all over again. Maybe upon closer inspection of Lincoln's quotes, perhaps he decided to channel the big spender FDR instead.

Of course, a close examination of history and the utter failure of the New Deal, which turned out to be a raw deal, they hit upon the rough ridin', big stick carryin', class warfare rhetoric slingin' Teddy Roosevelt to be Obama's champion and mentor.

But, somehow the image of Obama being shot while giving a speech and then continuing that speech with a slug in him, as Teddy "big stick" Roosevelt once did, does not jibe with the real image of Obama, who would not even continue his Veterans Day ceremony when it started to rain and thunder, to be rushed off the stage "for his own safety".

I think he should stick to his first mentor and life long pastor, the esteemed, America hating Reverend Wright. Because, we can all imagine Obama saying, "God Damn America!"

You are absolutely right and in tune with our founders and one of our greatest presidents. "When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the beginning of the end of the Republic." Benjamin Franklin. "You cannot make a poor man rich by making a rich man poor." Progressivism has placed into the minds of many of our fellow citizens for years, that every citizen in our country, regardless of effort, deserves to have an equal outcome as those who have truly succeeded through their own efforts. This is way to enslave even more and more citizens and thereby garner their votes in all these successive elections. The most recent examples of this are the extended unemployment benefits, the class warfare efforts to attack the evil rich, the increased tax holiday, not tax 'cuts', offered as an enticement to more Americans to obtain their votes. The latter, in itself, takes in no regard to the further bankrupcy of the Social Security system that is already unfunded. The scare is thrown in that if you don't vote for me next time you will lose these "freebies" and have to be 'strictly on your own again' as the flawed Constitution suggests. Think about how many people have bought into this idea! But, that's human nature.

Until we finally understand that liberty and freedom offered to us by the founders is what built this beautiful experiment, we will continue our downhill spiral into an abyss that is unescapable.

Everyone seems to want everyone else to sacrifice for them in hard times. The idea of struggling out of our temporary pit on our own seems to be almost a lost thought in today's society.

Welcome to European style socialism. Seems to have worked out just fine for them, hasn't it?! Just sayin'.

It should be obvious that in order to run the country and give the bottom 50% that pay no taxes all the goodies they want, money will have to be confiscated from the other 50% to do that. That is a felony (stealing) in the real world. And, it also should be obvious that eventually the top 50% can not afford to support the bottom 50% and pay for the rest of government operating cost without taking more and more and more. And, eventually the economy will suffer cause most of the capital that use to be in the market place creating new companies, expanding plants, and creating new jobs is no longer in the private sector but sitting in a beaurocrats vault somewhere waiting to be distributed to the lower 50%. That's Socialism, not social justice. What's justice about taking from one group and giving to another?

I have watched and listened to Gingrich for the better part of the last 10 years. And, it is impossible to not be impressed with his knowledge, his insights, his recollection of details, his ability to express himself. On the other hand, Obama is a good speaker with a teleprompter...but, if you ever check his facts you will soon discover that his BS is large and his fact base is small. that's the kind of debater that Gingrich would absolutely destroy in a debate. obama would not be able to be so loose and free with his facts and figures cause Newt lived through it and knows first hand what the facts, the causes, the outcomes of almost everything important that has happened at the Federal Government level for the last 40 years. I really don't think Obama wants to run into that buzz saw.

I really am afraid for America. i've watched Obama systematically put into play rules, regulations. laws that will absoluely ruin America as we know it. That's why I say, obama has to be gotten out of office at almot any cost. I would even rather see another
Democrat like Hillary in there. We need a real American, a patriot, someone who really respects the Constituion and America. I am sick and tired of being told we are arrogant, lazy, made a lot of mistakes, not special, etc etc. How dare someon like Obama criicize America. Does anyone else what do vomit every time he is in the presence of a Military man? Obama is so unworthy to be commander in chief and extremely unworthy to be using the same air as our guys in uniform.

I wish I could be as optimistic that anyone could turn this train wreck around. Gingrich was the Speaker and couldn't do it. He tried. I'll give them that. He tried and he would try again. Of that I have no doubt. But he is not Sampson, and this temple of doom will take more than mere words, however well crafted or delivered to bring it down.

I am afraid that the 70-80% that think it's ok to just tax the rich a little bit more, will not be bright enough to recognize the impending doom lying ahead. It's that kind of thinking that got us where we are today and I see no real evidence that enough people can even comprehend, let alone support the kind of change the country needs to undo the damage done to it in the 235 years since its formation.

Agreed, once again Rockn Chair. I guess our country has forgotten the failures of socialism and communism as the world has seen in the past. I seem to remember a number of around a third of the population being starved to death and just killed during the Russian experiment with socialism/communism, and the Chinese experiment with similar numbers of citizens being "culled" to allow so-called equal distribution of resources. I hope our nation can hang-on long enough to get through this horrible experiment and elect Newt Gingrich to undo this stupidity. I heard Newt rattle off in one breath how to increase employment and compete with China. It would take him 5 minutes to turn things around. Too simple. Oblamey is a fool.

Well, the only reason O'Gumby hasn't flexed at the knees yet is because the polls keep showing that most folks kinda like not paying taxes and reaping the freebie benefits of the class warfare campaign. Ignorant masses always want something for nothing and O'Gumby is giving it to 'em.

It's a winning strategy these socialists are playing and it will work until there's a nation wide run on the banks. Then the goose stepping begins, the brown shirts start kicking in doors of the rich Jewish bankers and it'll be game, set, match. History repeats. Heil O'Gumby!
