ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Compensation is at a rate of $200 per week plus $100 per completed and submitted crisis assessment, and mileage. If interested call Camino Real Community Services, 210-357-0359.

Wade and Betti Rutland of Stockdale, Texas, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, in the Stockdale Church of Christ Fellowship Hall in Stockdale. The celebration was held on Betti’s 83rd birthday. Wade is 91.

Wade moved to Stockdale in 1938 and graduated from Stockdale High in 1939. Betti moved to Stockdale in 1949 to teach school. They were married Dec. 22, 1951, in San Marcos by Dean Speck, a brother to Wade’s uncle.

The couple have resided in Stockdale ever since.

Joining to celebrate their parents’ anniversary were Babs Rutland McGuffin and husband Clint of Stockdale, Rick Rutland and wife Pat, Becky Rutland Stewart and husband Jim, and Trudy Rutland Eismann and husband Lee of Oakton, Va.

The Rutlands have five grandchildren, Misty McGuffin Rangel and husband Nick of Albuquerque, N.M., and Rhea Rutland, Ryan Rutland, Kelsey Stewart, and Lacey Stewart, all of Stockdale.
