FLORESVILLE -- Organizers of an effort known as “Recall Them All” -- a petition drive aimed at removing from office Floresville’s mayor and entire city council -- have scheduled a town hall meeting Thursday, Dec. 29, 5-7 p.m., in Jack’s Café.

Recall petitions, which ask voters to authorize a recall election to oust Floresville Mayor Daniel Tejada and councilmen Jesse C. Flores, Mario Morones, Sherry Castillo, John W. Guerrero and Johnnie R. Gomez, began circulating Dec. 5. The petition states that the mayor and councilmen adopted a 2011-12 budget that contained numerous material misstatements of revenues, expenditures and other city funds. The public is invited to attend and review the city of Floresville’s budget, budget worksheets, and financial statements, including an independent auditor’s reports.

Jack’s Café is located at 507 10th St. (U.S. 181) in Floresville.

For more information, call Jim Miller at 830-534-5251, or Mary Helen Tieken at 830-216-7111.

Bet you a puppy that they throw Joslin right under the bus. They purposely set him up, so they would have a chip in the bag when the time came for citizens to finally say we've had enough. No honor among thieves.
