Sheriff's deputies from Bexar and Wilson counties are outside a home on C.R. 164, where they are currently involved in a hostage standoff.

According to Wilson County Sheriff Joe D. Tackitt Jr., an unidentified man drove to the home with his wife as his hostage after he shot and killed his brother outside San Antonio earlier this morning. The identities of the other parties also have not been confirmed.

Tackitt said an air support unit is en route to conduct a flyover and that the Bexar County Sheriff's Office tactical unit also is en route to assist with operations on the ground.

The Wilson County News will update this story online as more information becomes available.
