ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. 1913-2011

Lula Coble, 98, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011. She was born Nov. 16, 1913.

She was married for 65 years to Leonard “Doc” Coble, who passed away in 2006.

Lula is survived by her twin sister, Lois Honea; her daughters, Linda Hilton of Henderson, Nev., and Mary Monceret of La Vernia, Texas; her sons, Gordon Coble and Garland Coble, both of La Vernia; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Friday, Dec. 30, from 5-8 p.m. in the Zoeller Funeral Home in New Braunfels.

A funeral service was held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Weidner Road Baptist Church in San Antonio.

Interment followed in the Sunset Memorial Park in San Antonio.

Memorial donations may be made to Weidner Road Baptist Church, 121 N. Weidner Road, San Antonio, TX 78233.
