Albina M. Richter Jandt, 90, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011. She was born Oct. 1, 1921, in Karnes County, Texas, to Theodore and Mary Notzon Richter.

She was a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Albina worked for Friedrich Air Conditioning Co. for 31 years, and retired at the age of 64. After retirement, Albina enjoyed traveling to Rockport and Lake LBJ, where she loved to fish and spend time with family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, and tending to their farm animals.

Albina was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Monroe Jandt; her parents; her beloved son, Lawrence D. Jandt; her brothers and sisters, Mary Alice Richter Boden, Leo Richter, Herman Richter, Alex Richter, Regina Richter Pundt, and Edward Richter.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Crowley and husband Michael; grandchildren Bryan Crowley and wife Monica and Lisa Clark and husband Bill; her precious great-granddaughters, Morgan and Shelby Crowley and Kara Clark; and her extended family and friends.

Visitation was held Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, from 6-8 p.m. in the Porter Loring Mortuary North in San Antonio.

A funeral service was held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Holy Cross Mausoleum Chapel in San Antonio.
