Doris Bernadette Moczygemba Haby, loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister, passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 50. She was born in Floresville Sept. 23, 1961, the daughter of Leo and Irene Moczygemba.

Doris worked at USAA for more than 24 years and was most recently employed at SWBC, holding the position of manager at both companies.

She is survived by her husband, Leroy “Lynn” Haby; and two daughters, Allison Lynn Haby and Amy Nicole Haby, all of San Antonio; her parents, Leo and Irene Moczygemba of Hobson; four sisters, Janet Scheffler and husband Marvin of Kosciusko, Sally Wiatrek and husband Willa of Falls City, Sharon Zunker and husband Albert of Falls City, and Mary Jane Janysek and husband Vincent Janysek Jr. of Karnes City; and six brothers, Dalton Moczygemba and wife Georgia of Hobson, Norman Moczygemba and wife Jane of Karnes City, Allan Moczygemba and wife Jackie of La Vernia, Richard Moczygemba and wife Carolyn of Victoria, Michael Moczygemba and wife Karla of Panna Maria, and Leo Moczygemba Jr. and wife Jeanette of Hobson. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Patricia R. Haby of San Antonio; brother-in-law Darrell Haby and wife Doris of San Antonio; sister-in-law Karen Donahoe and husband Ben of La Vernia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation began on Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 6 p.m. in the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in San Antonio, with a rosary at 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass was held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the church.

Interment followed in the Holy Cross Cemetery in San Antonio.

Serving as pallbearers were her nephews, Gregory Scheffler, Matthew Wiatrek, Dustin Wiatrek, Brady Zunker, Vincent Janysek III, and Craig Donahoe.
