1937-2012

Allen Muehl of St. Hedwig, Texas, passed away Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012, at the age of 74 years. Allen was born April 28, 1937, the son of Arno and Melitta (Engelhardt) Muehl.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Elizabeth Rakowitz and Vernell Rauschuber; and his brother, Kenneth Muehl.

Allen is survived by his nieces, Linda Strunk-Kelley and Vivian Ward; his nephews, Michael Rakowitz, Gerald Rakowitz, Charles Rauschuber, and Randall Rauschuber; and numerous cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

A funeral service was held Wednesday, Jan. 4, at 10 a.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, with Pastor Bobby Nixon officiating.

Interment followed in the Boecker Cemetery in Guadalupe County.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
