Sweet Adelines International’s “Alamo Metro Chorus” is searching for women singers of all ages to attend the chorus’s weekly rehearsal on Thursday evenings at 6:45 p.m. in the Beitel Memorial Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, located at 2515 Austin Highway at Perrin Beitel in

San Antonio.

The “Alamo Metro Chorus” is one of the hundreds of Sweet Adelines International’s choruses that make up this worldwide organization of women who sing four-part barbershop harmony.

Any woman of average singing ability, with or without vocal training, will find a part that fits her voice range with the help of Sweet Adelines International directors and leaders. Musical knowledge is not necessary to join. Voice training and music education will be offered as benefits of membership. The choral group performs regularly throughout the community.
