Warm-up trail rides set

Two of the six original clubs comprising the Old Chisholm Trail Drivers will have warm-up rides in January.

The Cross Country Trail Riders will gather Saturday, Jan. 14, at the Nixon-Smiley Show Barn located off U.S. 87 east of Nixon for their round-robin ride.

Ride out is set for 9 a.m.

Attendees are asked to take their own ice chests, drinks, lunch, and chairs. A potty wagon will be available. Camps are allowed.

A hamburger and hot dog supper will be furnished by the club.

Proof of negative Coggins is required.

Sandhills

Trail Riders

The Sandhills Trail Riders will gather Saturday, Jan. 21, at Brietkze Store in New Berlin. Riders are asked to park behind the building.

Ride out is set for 10 a.m. for the round-robin ride.

Attendees are asked to take their own ice chests, drinks, lunch, and chairs. A potty wagon will be available. Camps are allowed.
