Texas A&M University has named its honor students for the 2011 fall semester, recognizing them for outstanding academic performance.

The dean’s honor roll recognizes students taking at least 15 semester hours during the fall semester who have maintained a 3.75 grade-point average or higher. The distinguished student list recognizes those who earned a 3.5 to 3.74 grade-point average while taking at least 15 hours for the fall semester.

Among those recognized were local students listed below along with their town and designation:

•Amanda Pruski, Falls City, Dean’s Honor Roll

•Morgan Paschal, Floresville, Distinguished Student

•Lily Raabe, Floresville, Dean’s Honor Roll

•Sean Brysch, Poth, Distinguished Student

•Brittany Quintanilla, Poth, Dean’s Honor Roll

•Adrian Castellanos, La Vernia, Dean’s Honor Roll.
