Barbara Carol Martinez passed away Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 66 years, 10 months, and 1 day. She was born March 14, 1945, in Yuba City, Calif., the daughter of Charles Woodrow and Barbara Lee Lovell. She was a resident of San Antonio for 28 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Amador Martinez of San Antonio; her son, William Martinez Sr. and wife Rosalie Sakata of Colorado; one sister; one brother; and her grandchildren, Victoria Sakata and William Sakata Jr.

A small family gathering was held in the Franklin Funeral Home in Floresville.

Inurnment will be held at a later date.
