Donald F. Christian, born July 16, 1926, passed away Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at the age of 85. Donald was a native and lifelong resident of San Antonio, Texas.

He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

His wife, Doris E. Christian, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children and their spouses, Donna Fix and husband Wayne, Kathryn White and husband Albert, Julie Broadus and husband Scott, Rocky Christian and wife Lida, Jeff Christian and wife Carolyn, and Pete Christian and wife Ginger; his brother, Stanley Christian and wife Jean; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 19, from 6-8 p.m. in the Mission Park Funeral Chapels South in San Antonio.

A funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow in the Mission Burial Park South in San Antonio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
