1928-2012

Wyomia F. Pattillo, 83, of Pandora, Texas, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012. She was born on Sept. 11, 1928, in Burleson County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Arnold and Mattie Mae (Maddox) Flippin; her first husband, Velton Ray Moore; her second husband, Dwight H. Pattillo; four brothers; and two sisters.

Wyomia is survived by her daughter, Sharon Stewart and husband Wayne of La Vernia; a step-daughter, Letia Pattillo of San Antonio; three grandchildren, Dana O’Neal and husband Micheal of La Vernia, Tera Lynn Greene of Seguin, and Kali Pattillo of San Antonio; four brothers, David Flippin, Johnny Flippin, Ray Flippin, and Durrell Franklin, all of Arkansas; a sister, Jeanie Flurry of Arkansas; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many close friends.

Visitation was held Monday, Jan. 16, from 5-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon.

A graveside service was held Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
