Harold “Pops” DeLap, 92, of La Vernia, Texas, passed away Monday, Jan. 9, 2012. He was born Dec. 11, 1919, in Lexington, Neb.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou DeLap; his children, Ronald Lee DeLap, Linda Lou Burmeister, Mickey Louise Grun, and Peggy Sue DeLap.

Harold is survived by his grandchildren, John L. Grun, Sandra Peschke, and Bryce Widdison.

Visitation was held Thursday, Jan. 12, from 8 a.m. until noon in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.

Interment will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
