The Guada-Coma Independent Cattlemen’s Association (ICA) will meet Monday, Jan. 23, at 6:30 p.m. in the Seguin Cattle Co. located on S.H. 46 in Seguin. A meal will be served.

A field representative from the state comptroller’s office will answer questions concerning the new ag/timber sales-tax exemption registration. Also, Detective Bobby Bailey of the Theft Task Force will talk about how to protect your trailers from theft, growing theft trends, and the importance of a vehicle identification number (VIN).

The Guada-Coma ICA is a growing chapter with members from Wilson, Bexar, Comal, and Guadalupe counties. The chapter meets six times a year and has notable speakers talking about concerns, trends, and legislative happenings, and Continuing Education Units are given when applicable. New members and businesses are always welcome.

For more information about the state ICA, call 512-620-0162, and learn about the benefits of becoming a state member.

For more information including registration for the Monday meeting, contact Carilyn John at 830-379-2488 and leave a message including the number attending the meeting.
