‘Wildlife for Lunch’ webinar Jan. 19
Texas Wildlife Association has teamed with Texas AgriLife Extension to host a series of webinars covering a wide array of wildlife and land-management topics.
The next webinar, “Prescribed Burning for Wildlife,” will be held on Thursday, Jan. 19, from noon until 1 p.m. The webinar will be presented by Dr. Dale Rollins, Texas AgriLife Extension professor and wildlife specialist and director of the Rolling Plains Quail Research Ranch. Rollins will address how, when, and where burning can be most effective as a tool for managing wildlife habitat.
These free online webinars provide sound, science-based wildlife-management information delivered by experts to you in the comfort of your own home or office.
To sign on, simply point your browser to https://texas-wildlife.webex.com on the day of the webinar and click to join the Wildlife for Lunch webinar. Each web-based seminar is fully interactive and allows you to engage the experts, make comments, and ask questions during the course of the presentation.
Each webinar is archived and available for viewing following the initial airdate at the Texas Wildlife Association website www.texas-wildlife.org, if a person is unable to listen to the live webinar.
