AUSTIN -- The National Watermelon Promotion Board will hold a nomination convention in conjunction with the Texas Watermelon Association Meeting on Friday, Jan. 20, at 10:30 a.m. in the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown located at 700 San Jacinto Blvd. in Austin, to nominate qualified watermelon producers and watermelon handlers to fill open positions as directors of the board. . . .
