Private applicators license training/testing set for Feb. 2
Private applicators license training/testing is set for Thursday, Feb. 2, in the Wilson County Show Barn, located on S.H. 97 east of Floresville. The program is being sponsored by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service, Wilson County.
Registration is set for 8 a.m. and the testing program for anyone interested in acquiring a private applicators license will start promptly at 8:30 a.m.
The test will be administered following the training at 1 p.m.
A lunch break between the training and the testing will be taken. No lunch will be provided.
This program is for persons who do not currently have an applicators certificate or license, for those who have a license which expired at least one year ago and want to retest, and for persons who want to upgrade their certificate to a license.
Interested parties are asked to register by calling the Wilson County AgriLife Extension Service Office at 830-393-7357 by Friday, Jan. 27. A study manual is available for $25 at the Extension office, located in the basement of the Wilson County Courthouse in Floresville. Participants should take a calculator and photo ID to the training.
There will be a $10 registration fee payable at the door.
