FLORESVILLE -- U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Laredo, will bring Washing-ton, D.C., to Floresville by hosting a multi-city video grants conference to inform constituents about the latest in the grant application process on Tuesday, Jan. 24, from 10 a.m. to noon.

The event will air from the Alamo Colleges Floresville Center, located at 1813 Tiger Lane in Flores-ville. This event is free and open to the public.

Rep. Cuellar and speakers from various federal grant agencies and organizations will present a live via video conference at the Floresville Center.

Presenters include the Congressional Research Service, Grants.gov, the Foundation Center, and the Fund-Book. The workshop is a great opportunity to learn how the federal grants process works and learn about the tools and resources available to facilitate the application process. The video conference also will connect attendees from McAllen, Laredo, and Seguin.
