Paul Mark Anton, 36, born March 14, 1975, in Paris, France, was called home peacefully on Monday, Jan. 16, 2012.

Paul served in the U.S. Air Force during Desert Storm and was a police deputy sheriff support officer in a Bexar County, Texas, precinct. He loved flying helicopters both offshore and for the local San Antonio news stations, as well as private charter planes, and worked as a commercial pilot for Citation Air.

He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Lynn Anton; his children, Curtis Alan Lackey, Ashlynn McKenna Anton, and Colton James Anton; his mother, Alida Anton; his father- and mother-in-law, Melvin Lloyd and Vickie Sue James; his maternal grandmother, Aida Wruck; his great-aunt, Mary Jane Clark; his sisters, Alexis A. Anton and Nicole Anton Sutti; his uncles, Mark M. Ihle and Edward A. Ihle; his aunt, Anna Gonzales Ihle; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service and celebration of his life was held Saturday, Jan. 21, at 11 a.m. in the First Baptist Church in La Vernia, Texas.
