Sidonia Bohman Sells, 98, of Kosciusko, Texas, passed away Friday, Jan. 20, 2012. She was born Jan. 23, 1913, the daughter of Henry and Mary (Cook) Bohman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Newton Sells; her parents; her brother, Edgar Bohman; her sister, Annie Bohman Sells; and her son-in-law, Huey Lowrie.

Sidonia is survived by her son, Gene Sells and wife Gertrude of San Antonio; her daughter, Janet Lowrie of Plainview; her grandchildren, Karen Harkins and husband Russell of Hereford, Russell Sells and wife Francine of Adkins, Sandra James and husband Kenneth of Spring Branch, and Sharon Self and husband Brent of Dimmitt; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Wayne and Jo Rutland and Lupe Barrera.

Visitation took place Saturday, Jan. 21, from 5-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Stockdale.

A funeral service was held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Kenneth Clapp officiating,

Interment followed in the Stockdale Cemetery in Stockdale.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
