David O’Brien of San Antonio, Texas, 63, affectionately called “Papa” or “Uncle Dave,” passed away Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012. David was born Aug. 25, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Manuel.

David is survived by his brother, Patrick Michael O’Brien; his uncle, Brownie Hermerick; his son, Judd Dibrell; his nephew, Brandon Kirtner; and numerous grandchildren.

A private family ceremony will be held Sunday, Feb. 5.
