Brian and Debbie Hevner of Pleasanton, Texas, are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their son, Brandon Lee Hevner, to Kelsey Nicole Schwirtlich, the daughter of Randy and Sherry Schwirtlich of Robstown.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Tony and Theresa Divin of Loire, and Bettie Pundt of Floresville and the late Lee Charles “Tiny” Pundt.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Eddie and Jean Schwirtlich of Corpus Christi, and Dorothy Meyer of Dallas and the late Gordon Edward “Eddie” Meyer, formerly of Corpus Christi.

Brandon, a graduate of Pleasanton High School, graduated with a double major of marketing and management from Texas A&M-Kingsville and played baseball for the A&M Javelinas. Brandon is employed in outside sales with CED Electric in Corpus Christi.

Kelsey, a graduate of Calallen High School, graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a degree in mechanical engineering. Kelsey played volleyball for the UTSA Roadrunners. She has accepted a position with Flint Hills Refining in Corpus Christi.

The couple are planning a May wedding in Corpus Christi, Texas.
