See ‘Vienna Boys Choir’ in Boerne

Tickets are available for the “Vienna Boys Choir” concert on Thursday, Feb. 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the Champion High School Auditorium in Boerne.

The world-renowned choir of 24 boys, ages 10 to 14, will perform a program that includes works by Carl Orff, Johannes Brahms, Robert Schumann, and Johann Strauss.

When the United States was founded in 1776, the “Vienna Boys Choir” was 264 years old. The choir celebrated its 364th birthday when the city of Boerne was founded.

Tickets range from $30 to $50 and are available from the Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce, the Boerne Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the Kendall County of Economic Development Corporation Offices. Orders also can be taken by telephone at 830-331-9079 or online at
