The Old Chisholm Trail Drivers hit the trail Saturday morning, Feb. 4, in Cuero with Trail Boss Rip Gibson and Mascot Dillan Novak.

Queen Erin Wheat-Aguirre has dedicated Saturday as Patriots’ Day to honor our military personnel and everyone is asked to wear red, white, and blue. Sunday is dedicated to Cancer Awareness in honor of her mother, Janna Wheat, and others fighting cancer. Everyone is invited to wear pink.

Also, all the aluminum cans collected on the ride will be cashed in and donated to cancer research because “We CAN find a cure!”

All the trailriders will ride into San Antonio by the End-of-the-Trail BarBQ Friday, Feb. 10, and help kick off the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo with a grand entry Saturday night.

Let’s Rodeo, San Antonio!
