Texas Farm Bureau is pleased to announce several scholarship opportunities available to eligible students. Applicant’s parents or legal guardian must be members in good standing of Texas Farm Bureau. Three of these scholarships -- The Young Farmer and Rancher, the Agriculture Research and Education Foundation Scholarship, and the district Scholarships -- are for high school students who have not yet graduated. The fourth scholarship, The Young Farmer and Rancher Scholarships for Enrolled Students, are for college students who are pursuing degrees in agriculture and who have completed a minimum of 45 hours of college credit.

Each of these scholarships must be postmarked no later than Monday, March 19. The Farm Bureau directors will make every attempt to announce the recipients by Tuesday, May 1. Applications for each of the scholarships can be found on the Texas Farm Bureau website at www.txfb.org by clicking on “Youth Activities.” Also available on our website are links to other scholarship and financial assistance opportunities.
