1936-2012

Alleen Joyce Baker Martinez, 75, of Seguin, Texas, died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, in a Seguin hospital. Alleen was born to Amil M. and Frances Alderman Baker on Sept. 5, 1936, in Stockdale.

Before her health forced her to retire, she worked as a home health-care aide.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister.

Alleen is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Wolfe and husband Patrick of LaCoste; her grandchildren, Sandra Tidball, William Brown, Jeremy Wolfe, Katelyn Wolfe, and Justin Wolfe; her sister, Brenda Roechker; and her brother, Amil Baker Jr.

A private family graveside service was held Tuesday, Jan. 31, in the Baker Family Cemetery in Blanco.
