Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio is celebrating Black History Month with a list of events during the month of February.

•“A Gospel Experience” in the Chapel Auditorium featuring the Rev. Dr. Robert L. Jemerson and the Second Baptist Church Contemporaries Choir, Sunday, Feb. 12, at 4 p.m.

•“A Mighty Long Way” in the Blue Room with award-winning author Lisa Frazier Page and NAACP of San Antonio, Wednesday, Feb. 15, from 5-7 p.m.

•“Black Coffee: No Sugar, No Cream” at PWSR, the 10th annual poetry night: A Decade of Poetry & Soul, Wednesday, Feb. 29, from 7 p.m. to midnight.

All events are sponsored by the Association of Black Students, Center for Mexican American Students, HALO, and Center for Women.
