A Superhero fund-raiser, in honor of the late Jacob Jones, is set for Saturday, Feb. 11, from 4-8 p.m. in the La Vernia Chamber of Commerce Hall in La Vernia.

Tickets are $15 each and include a barbecue dinner, as well as games, including a superhero costume contest for all ages, and entertainment.

All tickets must be pre-purchased. The proceeds are going to the children’s Hopechest.

Hopechest is a charity that the Jones family supported prior to their 3-year-old Jacob’s death in June 2011. To read more about Jacob’s story, visit www.mysuperhero.org.

For tickets, contact Kendallkosch80@yahoo.com or Jenny.collins73@yahoo.com.
