Texas Lutheran University has announced area students who made the dean’s and president’s academic honor lists for the fall 2011 semester. Area students include:

•Floresville: Brittany Anne Baumann, dean’s list; Stephanie Shawn Stohr, dean’s list.

•La Vernia: Stephen Edward Bratz, dean’s list; Ashley Rae Buhrts, president’s list; Aubry L. Buzek, president’s list; Carly Rose Green, dean’s list; Douglas Ryan Hill, president’s list; Jennifer M. Lang, dean’s list; Douglas Allen Lewis, dean’s list; Nicole Kristi Switzer, president’s list.

To be named to the dean’s list, a student must have a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 while enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours. To be named to the president’s list, a 4.0 grade-point average is required along with 12 semester hours.
