The 81st Judicial District Attorney’s office is seeking candidates for the position of an Administrative Assistant. Duties will include but not limited to: answering incoming calls and greeting visitors, prepare discovery for defense bar as required, providing administrative and clerical support to the ADAs and District Attorney, assist in general office work and perform related duties as follows: Operate a multi-line telephone switchboard, proficient use of software applications and computer equipment, scanning and compiling files for eDiscovery, filing and creating court files, generating reports as required. Applicants must have at least five (5) years of administrative assistant experience, strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) ability to multi-task, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Rosie Ramirez, 9, is proud to be this year’s Sacred Heart School Valentine Princess.

Her parents are Sandra and Roy Ramirez Jr. Rosie has a sister, Emily, who also attends Sacred Heart School. She also has several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is the third generation to attend Sacred Heart. Her great-grandmother, Elena Ramirez, and her late great-grandfather, Ramiro Ramirez, sent their six children -- Ramiro Jr., Richard “Dickey,’” Roy, Rene, Robert, and Rosella -- to Sacred Heart School.

Rosie is the granddaughter of Crisanta Flores and the late Baldemar Flores Sr., and Angelita “Helen” and Roy Ramirez Sr., who also sent both their sons to Sacred Heart.

She was born May 24, 2002. Rosie has attended Sacred Heart since 2007. She loves her school and church. She is a fourth-grader in Maggie Cheek’s class. Rosie’s favorite subjects are reading, handwriting, and math. She loves participating in Destination Imagination.

Rosie’s favorite things to do are cooking, knitting, swimming, playing outside, and spending any time she can with her longtime friend, Alexis Barrera.
