The 2011-12 Valentine Court crown bearer is Michael Chandler Sturgis.

Born Oct. 3, 2007, in San Antonio, his parents are Christopher and Kimberly Sturgis of La Vernia. Michael has one younger brother, Mason, who just turned 1 in December. His grandparents are David and Deborah Dvorak of La Vernia, and Richard and Patty Sturgis of Kingsville.

This is Michael’s first year at Sacred Heart; he attends the 3K class, taught by Elvira “Billie” Quintanilla.

Michael is an energetic 4-year-old who loves the outdoors and enjoys playing soccer, T-ball, and basketball. He also enjoys hunting and riding the golf cart with Daddy and Pawpaw at the farm in Kingsville.
