Grant Hartmann will be the new Valentine Prince.

He is the 4-year-old son of Chad and Tina Hartmann of Floresville. His grandparents are John and Ruth Cornali of La Vernia and Allen and Joan Hartmann of Floresville. Grant is a member of the St. Ann Catholic Church in La Vernia. He began attending Sacred Heart in 2010 and is currently in the 4K class.

Grant is following in the footsteps of his great-grandmother, Mary Ella Tackitt, who was a member of the first class to graduate from Sacred Heart School. In addition, several of Grant’s family members have attended Sacred Heart School, including his cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandmother.

In his free time, Grant enjoys playing with his cousins, playing on his iTouch, riding horses, shooting his new BB gun at the ranch, and playing soccer. During the summer, Grant likes going to the summer program at Sacred Heart, when he’s not playing with his cousins at Grandma’s house.

Grant is very thankful to all his friends and family who have helped support his school. He asks everyone to continue to support his favorite school, so that his little sister, Lacy, can go to Sacred Heart when she gets older.
