Tristan Douglas Niedenberger awaits the honor of his coronation as king of the 2011-12 Sacred Heart School Valentine Court.

He is a 7-year-old second-grader who has attended Sacred Heart for four years. Tristan is the son of Douglas and Carrie Niedenberger, the proud big brother of Marilena, who also attends Sacred Heart, and the grandson of Argentina Ramirez and Annie Niedenberger, both of Floresville, and the late Fred Ramirez Jr.

A very active young man, Tristan has participated in the Wilson County Soccer League since the age of 3, basketball with the Spurs League, and Little League. He enjoys anything boyish, including monster trucks, skateboarding, riding his bike, playing video games, and playing with his two dogs.

Although not admitting to liking school, he does well academically, with spelling and reading as his strong subjects. Tristan is working hard at learning all his prayers and looks forward to making his First Holy Communion this year.

Tristan thanks all his family and friends for supporting him and the continued success of Sacred Heart School.
