1949-2012

Marrie Granado Borjon passed away Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 62 years, 4 months, and 16 days. She was born Sept. 25, 1949, in Missouri, the daughter of Valentine and Victoria Granado. She was a resident of Floresville for 32 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Manuel Fuentes; her brothers, Jesus and Domingo Granado; and her sister, Leocadia Aguillon.

Marrie is survived by her husband, Lazaro Borjon of Floresville; her children, Yolanda Martinez and husband Humberto of Floresville, Linda Borjon of Louisiana, Tomasa Cazares and husband Jorge of Floresville, Jasmine Marie Borjon of Floresville, Pedro Fuentes of Ohio, Robert Ramirez of Floresville, and Danny Ramirez of Floresville; her sisters, Valentina Yanez of San Antonio, Aurora Hernandez of San Antonio, Carmen Franco of Big Lake, and Lucia Trujillo of San Antonio; her brother, Eliseo Granado of Houston; 10 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 5 p.m. in the Franklin Funeral Home Chapel in Floresville, with a prayer service held at 6 p.m.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Guadalupe Mireles officiating.

Interment will follow in the Cañada Verde Cemetery in Wilson County.
