New quilters guild to meet in Seguin

The newly established Southeast Texas Quilters Guild will meet Thursday, Feb. 16, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Silver Center located at 510 East Court St. in Seguin.

The guild is being established as a means for all La Vernia, Sutherland Springs, and Stockdale area quilters to come together, share talents, learn different techniques, assist beginner quilters, and provide challenges to all levels of quilters through programs and projects.

The guild will have a maximum of 25 members. Dues will be $10 per year. Cost of the meeting room is $5 per person. For an additional $2, lunch will be provided.
